TREE |
Depending on its type, it may represent fundamentally two things: 1. The Tree of Life (the Cabalistic tree): God within us; 2. The Tree of Knowledge: Sex.
From the aforementioned comes the following examples:
- With flowers: 1. The Being starts to blossom and to get life within us. 2. The Holy Alchemy is already presenting the devotee with its benefits: fragrance and color. If the shade is one of the four alchemical colors, it shows us a change in the Waters. See Colors.
- With dried branches: 1. The Being is inactive within us due to lack of inner work. 2. The Sexual Force is drying and moving us away from the Path.
Sometimes this symbol is related to some person connected with the Gnostic Knowledge. By analogy we may mention the following dreams:
- If it is split into two or fallen: Someone that abandons the Path.
- If it is uprooted (extracted with roots): Someone that abandons the Path and will never return to it.
