The Interpretation of Dreams


Oneiric Symbology

From times immemorial, human beings have been very impressed by three phe- nomena: BIRTH, DEATH and DREAMS.

With all that, the truth lover will acquire what is called "Knowledge". However, in order to become a true oneiromancer, a truly wise person, the devotee should never forget three things: Right Thinking, Right Feeling and Right Acting. With these three virtues, the development of the Being will come quickly, and with him will sprout, as a creative flare, the true Intuition - a fundamental faculty for the interpreta- tion of dreams.

Therefore this brief dictionary does not intend to become a dogmatic text. It is just a disinterested effort to help the esoteric pilgrim in his journey towards the knowledge of himself. It is written that "GOD'S GLORY CONSISTS IN HIDING ITS MYSTERIES AND MAN'S IN DISCOVERING THEM...".

  • If we go to it: The need to go to the inner battle in order to combat the animal Ego.

  • If we see ourselves as a warrior: The need to become a warrior. Invitation to be less tolerant with our own defects.
  • If we see a warrior: It symbolizes the Intimate.

    WATERWater
  • Universal symbol of our own sexual waters.
  • Depending on how we see it, it may also show us states related to our health and to different aspects of our own life. The following are some examples of it:
    • If it is clear: Refined Mercury. It may also indicate good health.
    • If it is cloudy or dirty: Lack of purification in the Mercury. It may also predict illnesses.
    • If we float on it: It shows us that we may have to refine more the work on Alchemy or that we have to avoid the danger of a fall.
    • If we drink it: Exhortation to nourish ourselves with the b>Mercury.
    • If it is calm: Controlled passions. It also indicates that our life passes through peaceful moments.
    • If it is agitated: Our sexual waters are excited. It also represents psychologi- cal storms.
    • If one is swept away by the current: Situations in our own life that are dragging and moving us away from the spiritual world due to lack of will.
    • If we are drowned or the water floods: Adverse circumstances which will make us drown.
    • If we are asked to cross an amount of water: It may be an omen for a forthcoming Test of Water. The previous symbol (see oneself drowned) may also indicate the same.

    WEDDINGWedding
    • If one sees the spouse (dressed in wedding garments) next to oneself: Possibility of death for oneself.
  • It may also represent Spiritual Alliances between the couple, or between oneself and the internal parts of the Being.
