Tarot - Arcanum No. 6 |
Written by Editor VOPUS | |
The Arcanum No. 6 is the Lover of the Tarot, signifying Realization. The human being is found between Vice and Virtue, the Virgin and the Prostitute, Urania-Venus and Medusa. One is found in the situation of having to choose between one Path or the other. The Arcanum No. 6 is enchantment, equilibrium, loving union of Man and Woman, as well as terrible struggle between Love and Desire. Here we find the mysteries of the Lingam-Yoni. It also represents interlinking. In Arcanum No. 6 we find the struggle between the Two Ternaries; it is the Affirmation of the Internal Christ and the Supreme Negation of Satan. Arcanum No. 6 is the struggle between the Spirit and the Animal Beast. The No. 6 represents the struggle between God and Devil. This Arcanum is expressed by the Seal of Solomon. The upper triangle represents Kether, Chokmah and Binah, the resplendent Dragon of Wisdom (Father, Son and Holy Spirit); the lower triangle represents the Three Traitors who are the antithesis of the Divine Triad, they are the Demons of Desire, of the Mind, and of the Evil Will, who betray the Internal Christ from moment to moment. They represent the basis of the Ego (Judas, Caiaphas and Pilate); this lower triangle is the Black Dragon. The upper triangle in the Seal of Solomon represents the Immortal Eternal Triad.
The lower triangle represents the Three Traitors who lie within us:
These are the Three Evil Friends of Job. The three assassins of Hiram Abiff:
These Three Traitors live within the Mind, they are within ourselves. Let us remember that Dante represents Lucifer in the centre of the Earth, having three mouths, and in each one of his mouths there is a traitor. The Bible mentions these Three Traitors in the Apocalypse of Saint John, (16:13-14): "And I saw three frog-like Unclean Spirits coming out of the mouth of the Dragon, and out of the mouth of the Beast and out of the mouth of the False Prophet." These frog-like Three Spirits are the Traitors that betray the Internal Christ from moment to moment and constitute the foundation of the re-incarnating Ego, the "Psychological I", the Satan which must be dissolved in order to incarnate the Internal Christ. In the The Seal of Solomon, the Christmas Star is the perfect symbol of the Central Sun (the Cosmic Christ, the Perfect Multiple Unity). The Star of Bethlehem is the Seal of Solomon. The 6 points of the Star are Masculine. The 6 outer obtuse angles that exist between the points are Feminine (in synthesis, this Star has 12 Rays). 6 are masculine, 6 are feminine. The mysteries of the Arcanum A.Z.F. (the Sexual Magic) are summarized and synthesized in them. All of the Zodiacal Measurements are summarized within the Seal of Solomon; the 12 Rays of the brilliant Star crystallize by means of the Alchemy in the 12 Zodiacal Constellations. The inner relations that exist between the Zodiac and the invincible Central Sun are found written in the Seal of Solomon. The Sexual Genesis of the Zodiac is represented in the Seal of Solomon. The V.M. of Light, Hilarius IX, when speaking of the brilliant Star, said: "It is the basic form of all crystallizations and the schematic model of all flourishments. Its two triangles that join or separate Love, are the shuttles by means of which the ineffable mystery of the Eternal Life is woven and unwoven. Above, the Most Holy Eternity that acts as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Below, its counterpart with the power that governs, the power that liberates and the power that executes." "I am the resplendent morning Star", exclaimed John, the well-beloved of Christ, when receiving the Venustic Initiation from Christ’s hands. "And thus, each time the Eternal Geometrician fixes his attention upon one point of space, from that point arises the glorious Star announcing the birth of a new State of Consciousness, the Archetype of a Being, a globe, a star, a Sun." (Fourth message of the Avatar Ashrama.)
