This Arcanum is the "Crown of Life", the return to the Light, the incarnation of the Truth within us. No one can achieve Illumination without having been previously purified; only those that have attained Purification, Sanctity, may enter into the Chamber of Illumination. There are also many students that enter into our studies for reasons of pure curiosity and they want to become wise immediately. Paul of Tarsus says: "We speak Wisdom among the perfect ones." Only those who attain the Third Stage are Perfect, only among them may Divine Wisdom be spoken of. In the ancient Egypt of the Pharaohs, among the Occult Masonry, these three stages of the path were:
The candidates would remain in the stage of Apprentice for seven years or even more, only when the Hierophants were completely sure of the Purification and Sanctity of the candidate could he then pass to the second stage.
