Does God exist? Sistine Chapel-Adam's Creation

The university professor challenged his students with this question:

-'Did God create everything that exists?'
One student answered bravely:
- 'Yes, he did'.
- 'God created everything?'
- 'Yes sir', the young man answered.

The professor replied: 'If God created everything, then God created evil, because evil exists, and under the precept that our works are a reflection of ourselves, God is therefore bad'. The student remained silent when faced with such an answer and the teacher happily boasted of having proved once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said:

-'Can I ask you a question, professor?'
-'Of course', the professor replied.
The young man stood up and asked:
-'Professor, does cold exist?'
-'What kind of a question is that? Of course it exists, have you never been cold?'
The boy replied:
-'In fact, sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider to be cold is in reality the absence of heat. Any body or object is subject to study when it has or transmits energy, because heat is what makes that body have or transmit energy. Absolute zero is the absolute and total absence of heat, all bodies become inert, unable to react, but cold does not exist. We created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat.'
-'And does darkness exist?', the student went on.
The professor replied: 'Of course'.
the student answered: -'You are wrong again, sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light can be studied, darkness cannot, and there is even the prism of Nichols by which white light can be decomposed into the various colors of which it is made, with their different wavelengths. Darkness cannot. A simple ray of light rips the darkness and illuminates the surface where the light beam ends. How do you know how dark a given area is? Based on the amount of light present in that space, isn’t it? Darkness is a term that man has developed to describe what happens when there is no ligh'.

Finally, the young man asked the professor:

-'Sir, does evil exist?'
The professor answered:
-'Of course evil exists, as I said at the beginning, we see violations, crimes and violence all around the world, and these things are evil".
To which the student replied: 'Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist by itself. Evil is simply the absence of God; it is, as in the previous cases, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. It is not like faith or love, that exist just as warmth and light do. Evil is the result of the absence of God from the hearts of people. It is like cold when there is no heat, or like darkness where there is no light'.

Then, after nodding his head, the teacher remained silent.
